ABOUT JESSICA
Jessica has spent her entire legal career working in criminal law. Her reputation as a fierce and aggressive advocate comes from her willingness to pursue all possible avenues to secure the best outcome for her clients. Jessica began her career in criminal defense as an intern for Hartley Pecora while getting her undergraduate degree from Marquette University. During her time as an intern, she learned the ropes of criminal defense through reviewing discovery, talking with clients, and assisting the attorneys behind the scenes. While in law school, Jessica spent two years working as a student practice attorney for the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the sensitive crimes and domestic violence units. During that internship, Jessica worked on all aspects of a case from the charging conference to trial. Her experience in the District Attorney’s office gave her insight into their procedures and practices which allows her to effectively advocate for her clients. The professional relationships with prosecutors and Judges that Jessica built while at the District Attorney’s office has helped her secure excellent outcomes for her clients in her current work as a defense attorney. After graduating from Marquette University Law School, Jessica began working full time as an associate attorney at Hartley Rauch. In her time at Hartley Rauch, Jessica has successfully gotten cases dismissed pre-trial, argued motions to suppress harmful evidence, won Department of Corrections revocation proceedings, negotiated deferred prosecution agreements for her clients, and secured dismissals of cases during trial.
